Come along with me on my tale of woe if you will: Had a group that was made up of players from here on R20. We played on Tuesday nights, and it was great! We lost a couple of players, replaced them with new ones, but when the group finally settled into regular players we had a pretty good vibe as a group. We played every other week, the DM was great - nice guy, great DM and we almost got through LMOP - and visions of a longer campaign danced in our head - then disaster struck! The DM had a personal issue befall him, and could no longer continue our adventures and disbanded the group, orphaning the players; and, there was no animosity between the players and the DM - we wished him well and understood his situation. We were just disappointed to not be able to finish the adventure or continue on further. That being said, I'd like to start playing with a group again. Have a lot of D&D experience, some with discord and R20. I'm an older player, more mature, not in to cause any problems, just want to play. Recently lost a friend and have a character (probably a Paladin) that I want to make based on him as tribute. Available on Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun and I'm in the EST timezone.
