MapTeleporter not changing token banner to correct map

I have the API MapTeleporter set up and running. It functions fine for all my player tokens but one. This token, while it can move about via the teleporter script within the same map, when it comes to moving between different maps it does not change the token banner. It functions without error for all my other players, except one. When they move to the teleportation area the token shifts to the GM layer, and the end jump location token moves to the Token layer, as it should. But I have to manually change the token's banner to the correct map to enable vision. As stated I can track every other player token as they move between maps by looking at the Folders tab and expanding the party location tab. It changes in real-time as they move...except for the one token.  Has anyone encountered this issue before and found a fix for it?
I am have the same problem (legacy VTT). Characters created after about the 1st of October don't get the banner on the target page. also some other issues with Teleport have come up such as; when cross page destination Telepads are added (via global Telepad list) to the game it won't save them.
Sorry forgot to add I am NOT currently using Jumpgate. I'm not have the save issue. I have found that if you stretch the telepad to any size bigger than one grid square the token moved to that pad appears in the center of the larger sized telepad. This can lead to clipping issues if your using light barriers that are close to the destination square.
Ok...  I think I found what was causing the issue. I have no idea WHY this would interfere with the API but this is the only difference I could find between my player tokens. Switching between maps now (for now) updates the player ribbon to the correct map.   When editing the player's token you can only have the player themself listed under Can Be Edited & Controlled By.
