Hi there, looking to set up a Roll20 weekly game using the Shadowdark system in order to explore a hybrid world of the classic Mystara/ Greyhawk modules. We will be using Roll20 and Discord. The start time can be negotiated depending on needs. Expect a game that leans into classic tropes and old school play that delves into the sometimes insane world of old school adventure design. This is about loot and renown... Become heroes and maybe, with time sweat and blood, and luck, found an entire kingdom. The party will start off with a keep (on the borderlands) to occupy and develop as they grow in experience and wealth. The world will be sparsely detailed outside of the immediate region and will be expanded through need and player input (backstories, etc). The world is there to be created and your legend is there to be forged.
Hi Empirical - I love Shadowdark ( if you're available I can take another player in my Friday evening (UK) Shadowdark game https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/407713/shadowdark-wilderlands ) and would be very interested! However my weekends are very full & I can probably only do Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs currently. I might just about be able to do alternate Sundays, an online game I'm playing in is 2pm-5pm alternate Sundays, so I could maybe manage ca 5.30pm/6pm-8pm/8.30pm. The other Sundays I GM or play in live games, so can't really do anything else, and Saturdays are blocked off for my gf. Are you planning to run a sandbox with the adventures located around the setting, or a linear sequence of adventures? I tend to strongly prefer sandboxes these days. Cheers Simon
