I'm definitely interested, however I'm stationed in Okinawa right now, so the time difference might be an issue.

Post your availability and I'll try to pick a game day and time based on that information. Currently prepping for an adventure for 5-10 first level characters, so I need to know your 1st choice and 2nd choice character type (fighter, cleric, etc). I'll be using the TSR Core Rules software for character upkeep and maintenance, but the creation process will be here for our first session, so we can do that on a 1 on 1 basis, around your schedule. You'll receive a PDF copy of your completed character sheet after it is imported into and print out from the TSR software.

I'm on the east coast and could be available a couple nights a week after 6:30 pm. I have the TSR Core Rules software as well.

Well, I'm available on Saturdays, nearly any time. The other times when I'm available vary. I can't play too much later than 12:00 CST though on any night.

I'm keen to hear more about this campaign and possibly join. 2E is my jam. I also like 1st edition and mixing them is normal to me. Used to have Core Rules software but haven't managed to install it on my current computer. I've got all the rulebooks from AD&D both editions in print & PDF. Availability is somewhat flexible so it's hard to say exactly. I can probably shift my schedule to work with a lot of game times, whether afternoon or evening (Central USA times), except NOT Wednesday night, Thursday night. If it is Friday night I would need to change my schedule to work it out. Any other weekday or weekend afternoon or evening is good.

I don't have said software.

Players owning the software is not required. I have it installed already, and will be using it during each session (books, utilities, search engines, treasure generators, etc), but especially to manage previously created character sheets (since it also includes all of the possible items that have ever been mentioned in the D&D world for inclusion into any given player sheet).

The players that responded have agreed that 6PM CST would be the best time to fit their schedule. For those other people that are interested in joining the group, I would also need to know your 1st / 2nd choice for character type (mage, fighter, thief, etc).

Yeah, I could make Saturday at either of those times. The afternoon one is better though. My first character choice would be a Halfling thief (Human if we are playing btb with level limits).

So far we have a cleric, thief, paladin, fighter, ranger, mage and druid. Minimum of only 3 seats left before we can begin. Let me know what class you'd be most interested in so we can add you to the party. Check out the 2nd edition class books, there are other subsets like Illusionist, Assassin, Ninja, Barbarian, Bard, etc. Thanks.

I originally had a link posted for info, but it would probably be easier for me just to mention it. Depending upon the class you choose, the handbooks for that class are available online. Just google the name of the book followed by PDF . For instance, I know the priest handbook pdf is available online. I'm in. Pretty much available whenever. I play a Ranger/Thief/Druid.

I'll be online this weekend 10/4-10/5 if you want to hook up and roll your character. Some people are already here keying in their data to their character sheet, so we're just chilling taking care of business to get the show on the road. Post here if you need an invite. Private message notifications don't show up until the following day and aren't very user friendly. The way it's laid out, I'm forced to hunt for increases in correspondence activity, rather that highlighting or putting new replies at the top of the list, etc. Horrible.

Could I have the join link as well? I'm up for it. And I have all the 1E rulebooks. Will that work? Or are we playing 2E instead? Also, according to 1E rules, Halflings are unlimited in the Thief class. Oh yeah!

Online and ready for invite. I only own the 2E books, so I might have trouble if we're doing 1E.

So is today the start date? Or are you still putting the campaign together? Sending us the join invite might be more useful, you'd be able to see usage inside your campaign. As well as the campaign forums...And we would have everything ready by 6 on our side if you're using character sheets.

See the top first post in this forum for the invite link. Characters currently in the group are 2 fighters, a fighter/thief and a cleric. Could use a mage or other type of class. There are all kinds, like monk, bard, wild mage, assassin etc, so be sure to check out the 2nd edition kits.
