Why is my game description text being saved in this WONKY text box that cuts off my words line by line?

Hi Hollow! Where are you seeing this? Is this in edit mode or in display mode (this question may not make sense depending on the answer to the first)?

On both the public game details page as well as the page where I click Launch Game

It looks like the "Code" formatting has been applied. Can you try selecting the whole thing and apply the Normal style? Turning text like this... ... into text like this

When I selected the entire text I don't see an option to apply the "normal style" in the menu when I right click. Should I be looking somewhere else? 

Ah, I haven't typed anything into that box in years. Looking at it in edit mode, it says that formatting is done with markdown. There are only two ways I can come up with off the top of my head for your text to be displaying like that. 1. You are surrounding your text with markdown for code: one to three back ticks ` or ``` 2. You have an extension or browser that is affecting display. If not using Chrome or Firefox, can you test with those? If you are using them, can you check if the display continues to show like that if you test in a private browsing window? That usually disables most extensions. I have tested on my own campaign by putting in a description. I am unable to duplicate without using markdown for formatting code:

Did you copy & paste this from another program, e.g., Word? Because Roll20 expects plain text / Markdown text in that box. It doesn’t use the same editor as Handouts or other Journal entries, or these Forums. 

Still does the same thing in other browsers as well as chrome incognito mode. The text was originally typed out by hand and not copy and pasted.

Your best bet then, is a  Help Center Request . Since this will probably need a hands-on investigation.
