Fade in added automatically at the beginning of a sound

I have a rain sound that I plan to play over and over again. But when I upload it, there's a fade in that's automatically added to the beginning of the sound. How does this happen? Original sound: Sound on Roll20:

Yikes. I'm not familiar with that happening. I will playtest it today. I've used it many times before and never saw that happening. Is your custom audio track 1-minute long? Can you hear the fade-in with your ears, or only saw it on the soundwave graphic as-pictured?

It's 1 min long. And yes, I can hear it. Here's another screenshot which illustrate the problem:
Here's a link to my rain loop sound. Can you reproduce the problem? https://drive.google.com/file/d/16RsCmpyG5zIONWtLAlpj53t08cUdluzc/view?usp=sharing

Hi Nico, I have playested this and repeated the steps and found a Setting that you can toggle. In either case (either setting) the Waveform will look like it has the Fade. If the Fade-In setting is turned on, you'll hear the fade. If the Fade-In setting is DISABLED (normal position), you won't hear the Fade, but you'll still see the fade visually on the waveform. For Loop purposes, you can have Fade-In turned off and it loops with a small silent-blip (not a fade). It sounds like a a track-skip on an old CD. To reduce this effect you could just make your Rain sound longer (like 3 minutes) so the blip occurs less frequently. To find the Fade-In settings click the 3-Dots icon, next to the track in your Jukebox. The interface is a bit confusing, the words Fade-In or Fade-Out will be highlighted if it's turned on. Make sure Fade-In is OFF, and Loop is ON. Fade-In setting is OFF, you see a fade visually on the waveform but I don't hear a fade: Fade-In setting is ON... I hear the fade,

Sounds like a bug to me. I've done loops before, and I don't remember having this problem. I think the workaround would be to fade in / fade out over 4-5 seconds on a 3-4 minute track, so as not to hear the transition. Still, it's not very practical. In any case, thank you for confirming my observations!

I would love to see the Roll20 development to do another upgrade on Jukebox features. I think a feature you just mentioned could be called "crossfade". Please be sure to search/surf the Suggestions forum and upvote +1 on the handful of suggestions for improvements to Jukebox.
