Let's Fix Your Hex Page: Every time.

Hello. Recently roll20 apparently did some backend changes to hexes. While this is annoying enough having to redo literally dozens of pages, what is more annoying is having to do it for every new page as well. Every new page made, it needs to be "fixed" which causes a refresh. Sometimes I have to refresh first, making two refreshes. This slows things down and adds up over time. It's a silly thing to not have this "fix" be default. Is there a button somewhere that I can make this default?

Hi Kel,  When you say this is happening on new pages, could you elaborate? If it is asking right after creating the page then that would be really odd because a brand new page has nothing to fix. If it is after you drop images, that might make more sense.

Hi Kel! Check your game settings page. If you set it at any point in the past for the default to be a hex grid, you might have an old value in there. Make sure the default width is 70px. This is the default if setting for hexes on a newer game.
I do have the default changed but it is set to 70px so I dont know how to fix this. And yes, each new page. As in, you click new page, and a new page is made. It immediately has the issue. Below are my default settings for each page in the Game Settings.

Kel, could you PM me an invite to your game? I'd like to come take a look and see if I can determine the problem.
I more or less figured out the cause. So, if I change the default game setting page to hexes, this issue arises. If I change it to square and then change in game to hexes, it doesnt do this. So basically I need to not use hexes as the default and just switch the grid to hex each time a page is made instead. An annoyance but workable. I suspect it to be on roll20's side then as I tested this in a lot of different games I own.
