Replacing/Advancing the connection to Dundjinni.com - new assets/token

Hey Roll20, are there any plans to substitute for the assets, that we got through the connection to Dundjinni.com? Sadly Dundjinni won't come back, but there are alternatives which already have a wide offer of free tokenassets. For example cartographersguild.com Would it be possible to establish a connection to these sites, like it was once done with Dundjinni? best regards, Lgs

Hi Lgs,  What you call "the connection to Dundjinni.com" was never a connection to that website. It was a Google search that just happened to push that result to the top.  The problem is, Google shut down that option many years ago (about a decade ago now), what you are seeing is an archived search.  Based on that I don't expect any new search to replace it.

the best you can do for now, try the one area Roll20 has used to increase access to free assets after the Search of dundjini results declined: In your game → Go to Art Library → Free Assets  and check out what's in there

Nope, it uses the link to generate the images, which means if the link ever goes down, so does the image. It is why when Dundjinni assets started dropping off the recommendation was that people copy any images they are using and upload them to Roll20 if they wanted to keep them.
Dundjinni was a great collection of crowd-sourced simple token art. Unfortunately either the web provider or property-owner successor Dundjinni removed the website a couple of years ago, long after the company itself had shuttered, so those assets are gone. You can sometimes find people who kept zip files of collections of the original artwork posting them online, so you could google for those, grab one and add the contents (and use your own storage) for the ones you need, but those archives don't seem to last and I couldn't find one the last time I looked.
