[LFP][5E][GMT+0][FREE] Homebrew Campaign looking for 1 more player

Hi folks. We have a party of 4 players in a roughly 6 month homebrew campaign that takes place in a new continent that you the players are slowly unravelling and understanding.  Light hearted and comedic themes sprinkled into a larger more serious overarching storyline. I have DMd a few one shots but this is my first campaign - expect some slip ups but we roll with it and learn as we go! 20 GMT I'm in college but the hours work and I'm pretty free most of the time - Good Roleplay - Fun interesting characters (including other pcs) - A story that invovles actually making choices in character - A fun experience! So, this requires a little explaining. My character in an ongoing campaign had just been killed. I really liked him but it made too much sense in the momment for him not to die.  Anyway this required me coming in with a new character and to get him acclimated with the world and me comfortable roleplaying him, the dm and I did a solo session about how he eventually ended up running into the party. At one point in the session, my character Karru met essentially the GOAT of this world. He was a legendary swordsmen who had retired, hadn't fought in years and was seriously faded. Karru attempted to convince him over and over again that the world was in crisis, that it needed him. He believed it was hopeless, that not even he could stop what was coming. So Karru struck a deal. The two of them would fight with no restraint and if he won, the hero would agree to come with him. The hero agreed. Karru had no expectation of winning. The point of the battle was to prove to this jaded old hero that he wasn't going to bear the weight of his mission alone, that there were other competent heroes fighting too.   It doesn't really matter who ended up winning, the dm and I's mid fight roleplay was so perfect and the characters, while both being mellee focused, had such different abilities that the fight felt intense and insanely unique! my discord is: musicmanlovessam

We did a lot of 'prep' to give this roll advantage to catch this evil guy from escaping but......double nat 1s...... Feel free to add me to Discord if you would like to talk more and interview. I wanna go through an exciting and compelling story. I'd like to meet interesting characters and make bonds with both pcs and npcs. Finally I really wanna make some new friends to chill and play with. Tell me a little about your favourite event or character in playing dnd: I have actually not played a campaign yet my first ever session is this sunday but I can give you some character concepts I have  1. Pocke'dimus Trixinit aka Pocket-Kobold wild magic sorcerer, he was adopted by a human sorcerer after his parents died and was taught magic in a  small kingdom. But as the small kingdom was becoming more and more broke Pocket decided to become  an adventurer and get money for his kingdom. 2. Bugsy-Bugbear circle of the moon druid, a former half elf prince of a kingdom bugsy was curse by a witch and turned into a bugbear with no memory of his previous life, he now wanders the land searching for a purpose. 3. Marie Jazz-Half orc college of eloquence bard, Born and raised as an entertainer Marie travelled with a musical caravan. Things were going well until she slept with the daughter of a very influential crime boss and to make matters worse she swiped a powerful magical artifact from him. Now she's on the run trying to live life how she wants and figure out what the item she stole actually does. 4. Emarion Evarion-Battle master fighter, He was trained as a soldier to protect a noble family but when one night they were found dead he was blamed for it and sent to prison. He was than banished from his kingdom but vowed to find the real murderers and get his revenge. My discord is pawman69 if ya wanna talk there        

Your age : 22 Your timezone: GMT (UK) Your availability (How likely is it you might need to miss a session): If the schdule for Tuesday night was consistent throughout the year, I would be able to attend pretty much every session, with maybe like 1-2 odd exceptions when I'm working on university assignments. What are you looking for in a dnd group/campaign?: In terms of d&d, I started playing earlier this year and have only really had the opportunity to be the DM of my close friends, due to personal issues or scheduling disputes. So, I've only really had the chance to play 4 sessions as my pc when I originally planned to never really be a dm. So I would be looking for a consistent group of people to run some d&d and get along with and to finally be able to play as a pc and get into character. Tell me a little about your favourite event or character in playing dnd: I would have to say that my favourite ever moment was probably surprising my friend for his bday. We're a group of about 10~ people, including the dm; all of whom are either university students or in employment, we are also from a variety of European countries and don't often get to see each other or hangout all together, however, we managed to organise a session a few days before one of our buddies birthdays and we centered about half of the session around surprising him into a little birthday celebration in and out of character. Extra information: As stated above I'm pretty new to d&d, while I have dm'd and am currently giving another shot at dming, I'm not great for world knowledge as I have never played any TTRPG prior to this year so I would be pretty clueless in comparison to most other people.
