Looking for a beginner friendly D&D game!

My only experience with ttrpg is an ongoing Call of Cthulhu campaign, but I’m figuring that it might have been a bad place to start. Semi big group, in person sessions, I made my character too complex to roleplay with, and I’m just not really having fun with the ”realistic” setting. So, I’m looking for a small english speaking dnd group who would be open for newbies ^_^ Please let me know if anyone has space! Something to note: I’m a highschooler, and I don’t use a webcam EDIT: Thank for the advice on things I should add! My time zone is UTC+2, and I'm free all day from fridays to sundays. Other days need negotiating lol. I don't mind the length of the campaign. I'd *prefer* around 3 other players max and shorter session times. Also let me know how I can reply to comments X_X

Hey Milo, I'm in the process of putting a beginner adventure together for a system called The One Ring 2e. Games will be Saturday afternoons at 3 PM EST starting Jan. 11th. That gives us plenty of time to create characters and start the narrative. I know it's not D&D but if you enjoyed The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, you might enjoy it! It's my first time running it so I think 2 or 3 sessions is what we'll need to complete it. I'm keeping it to four players.  It might be a pleasant start to your TTRPG journey!

I am starting a Friday night, 6pm PST, game of 2nd edition DnD. It will be centered around dungeon crawling. It is also Text Only format for interaction. I am a long time GM who has another campaign that is in it's 7th year of weekly play. I plan to run my Friday night sessions as long as one player shows up.

Hi, it helps if you specifiy what time zone you are in, and what days and times you are available  to play. Are you looking for just a learn to play session, or a shot or long campaign?  With other players? Etc. Welcome to the site. Roll20 serves games around the world. 

I'll throw my hat in the ring here - running a 2nd Ed AD&D game, Sunday 9-12 in the morning GMT. Interested? No webcam needed but you'll need to provide your own weapon and armour ;)
