If i activate the 1 year subscription plan and cancel it afterwards do i still get the full year of subscription?

Hi everyone! I know that similar topics exist, but the ones I find are 7-10 years old. Things could have changed since then. Also I asked a friend with subscription to show me how it looks and subscription cancel wizard clearly states: "What you'll lose by canceling Plus. By canceling your Plus subscription, you'll lose access to: ..." So, thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, you keep the full year. It doesn't refund the purchase (unless something has drastically changed since I last looked at this).
