Player Characters Lelias Nightblossom (Deceased) - An elven warrior from Neverwinter. Her mother (Hycis Nightblossom) was a seasoned soldier, and her father (Llarm Nightblossom) was a high-ranking operative working for the Spymaster in Neverwinter. She died protecting Aram from the leader of the Orcs in Cragmaw Castle. She was buried in the Neverwinter Forest. Having no patron, Lelias' soul has been added to the Wall of the Faithless. Her body, however, was used by Zelmar in a horrible expirement to create zombies that moved and reacted as quick as humans do. Her body was stopped, and burned by the party. Urist of Torm - Not much is known about this dwarven priest of Torm. He is a devout follower of Torm, and has recently started up a small Temple to Torm in Phandalin. He provides the party with healing magic, protections, and moral guidance. Belloq Ravenwood (Deceased) - A rogue of considerable knowledge. Not much was known about Belloq, but we did know that he had skill in the rapier, whip and a breadth of knowledge of a number of things. He died when facing the young dragon Venomfang. His body was buried near the open planes West of Neverwinter, near the ruined city of Thundertree. Having no patron, Belloq's soul has been added to the Wall of the Faithless. Aram Rhongomyniad (No longer traveling, Aram is now an NPC) - A wizard of evocation magic, Aram was highly studious and learned beyond his years. After obtaining the Glasstaff item from Iarno, he started asking people to call him by the moniker "Glasstaff". Aram was killed by Venomfang's terrible breath. After some inner turmoil deciding on who to spend his diamonds on, Urist begged Torm to give him a sign, and he interpreted the sign to resurrect Aram, thus Urist brought him back from death, and pulled him away as he was heading towards the Wall of the Faithless. Aram took this death experience and resurrection harshly, and has chosen to settle down in life. He has opened a library in Phandalin. His sister Amara came looking for him, and took his place in the adventuring party. Randal Greystone - This friendly country bumpkin is known for his strength and sturdiness. His kindness towards others had him volunteer to assist nearby villages when earthquakes devastated them, earning him a place in the hearts of the people nearby as somewhat of a folk hero. Although clean of addiction now, the kindness of people buying him drinks had him needing it for a period of time. He still would love to seek what happened with his childhood sweetheart, Tessa Wright, who went on to Neverwinter to learn spell casting. The party saved his older sister, Mirna, from the Redbrand Ruffians. When Randal found that they could use additional muscle, he joined with the group out of gratitude. He has taken to calling Urist "Boss". Amara Rhongomyniad ( Deceased)  - A monk worshiping Kelemvor, and Aram's sister. Joined the group shortly after Aram decided that adventuring wasn't for him. She died heroicly during the battle against Zelmar at the portal to the Shadowfell. Vailfaan Greenlance - A paladin of Mielikki, who was sent forth by his order to stop Zelmar. However, when he got to the area, he found Zelmar already vanquished. He joined our heroes after learning their reputation so he could have a chance to do some good. Devrett Crowsblood - A wild magic sorcerer, and supposedly Belloq Ravenwood's brother. Joined the party for his share to Belloqs fortune. Roy - A half-elven bard who was stuck in the mirror in the Dungeon below Wave Echo Cave. The mirror informed the party that the Master had held him their as he had potential, the Master noticed that they had potential, and would like him to travel with them too.

Klarg - A Bugbear that the group ran into while in Cragmaw cave. Worked out with the party a way to defeat the goblins, who he was sick and tired of taking orders from. Once they killed the goblin leader, Klarg ran off, thanking the party. Sildar Hallwinter - A kindly human nearing 50 years old. He was Gundren Rockseeker's personal bodyguard. He actually works for the Lord's Alliance in Neverwinter, and their interest in Wave Echo Cave caused them to request that he go with. His mission was two-fold, however, as he was trying to find the fate of Iarno Albrek, another member of the Lord's Alliance. Slidar was held captive in Cragmaw Cave, and accompanied the group to Phandalin. In Phandalin, when he learned of the current townmasters cowardice, he took command. The residents of Phandalin were a little worried at first, however Sildar won them over. With a kind heart, but no fear to take action, Sildar has quickly become a beloved townmaster for Phandalin. Toblen Stonehill - Runs the Stonehill Inn inside Phandalin. He is a short, young human. He came from Triboar, a town from the east in which the Triboar trail was named after. He came to Phandalin to mine, but opened the inn when he saw the profit in it instead. Although his rooms may not always be full (although they have been lately thanks to you guys putting Phandalin back on the map), his tavern always is. He keeps 2 rooms available at all times for you the group, and doesn't charge you for them either. He does this in thanks of dealing with the Redbrand threat, as well as getting Phandalin back on the map. Qelline Alderleaf - A cheerful halfling farmer. She is proud that her son was able to assist the Heroes of Phandalin defeat the Redbrand menace. Carp Alderleaf - A halfling child who happend to find the secret entrance to Tresendar manor on accident. He showed the adventurers how to get in. He attempts to see them every time he hears they are in town, and hopes to be a "big, strong fighter like Urist!" when he grows up. Linene Graywind - A human woman of about 35, she is sharp tongued and likes to take action. She runs the Lionshield Coster, and is always happy to preform maintenance on the groups weapons and armor. She still charges for new equipment, however. Elmar Barthen - A lean, balding man of about 50, Elmar has a contract with the Rockseeker brothers to keep them supplied in Wave Echo Cave. He is close friends with Gundren, and was very worried about him while he was captured. Ander - A young, half-elven teenager who works for Elmar. Thistle - An older, half-elven man who works for Elmar. Harbin Wester - A fat, pompous man of about 40. He was a banker, but was elected the townmaster. His cowardice in dealing with the Redbrands lead Sildar to step in and force him out of his position as townmaster. Harbin went back to banking, but found that nobody would deal with him due to his cowardice causing suffering in the town. Sildar took pity on him, and he currently works as a clerk under Sildar. Sister Garale - A zealous young elf who was in despair over Phandalin's problems. She seems oddly at peace with a Shrine of Torm being erected just across the street from her Temple of Tymora. Rumor has it she is a member of the Harpers, but nobody can confirm that. Thel Dendrar (Dead) - A young human male with a beautiful wife and kids. He was murdered in broad daylight for opposing the Redbrands. Mirna Dendrar - A beautiful woman in her early 30s. Sister of Randal, and mother of Nars and Nilsa. She was held captive by the Redbrands to be used as their plaything, but was rescued by the adventurers before any damage was done to her or her kids. Nars Dendrar - A young human of about 13 who wants to grow up just like his Uncle Randal. Nilsa Dendrar - A young girl of 18 who inherited her mothers beauty. She was scarred by the events of what happened, but was able to pull herself out of her stupor. When she found that Aram had opened a library, she began heading there every day. Now 19 years years old, she is an accomplished Wizard in her own right, and now takes jobs for Aram. She was the one who brought the Tomb of Damara up to Aram, and suggested she go investigate the seal on the Tomb. She was captured, but was smart enough to evade the bulk of the torture by pretending to be unconscious for long periods of time (once she realized the orcs only cared about torturing her while she was awake and reacting). The party found her and saved her from some orcs, taking her back to Leilon. She begged the party to turn back to the Tomb and stop Bonegnasher.   Iarno Albrek - The original Glasstaff, he was working for the Black Spider to keep people away from Wave Echo Cave, and make sure the Gundren never reached it. He began terrorizing Phandalin in hopes to keep people focused on those problems. Was defeated by the party, and left go. He said he was going to flee east. King Grol (Dead) - The bugbear working for Black Spider that held Gundren. He killed Lelias while they attempted to rescue Gundren, but was killed in action in the battle as well. Vyerith (Dead) - A dopleganger who was working as a liaison for Black Spider. He was receiving a report from Grol when the adventurers attacked, and lost his life before he could deliver the news. Gundren Rockseeker - A dwarven male who recently discovered Wave Echo Cave. In his excitement, he let is slip, and Black Spider heard about it started to make sure no one else would follow, so he could use it. Gundren spent months trying to raise the money to hire a team, and when he had it, went to Neverwinter. It took him another few months to finish getting a team together. It was during that time that Black Spider took over and started his reign of terror. Gundren was captured on his way back to Wave Echo with suplies. He was held at the Cragmaw Castle for a while, but was rescued by the party. He learned of Black Spiders plot while captive, and offered the party 10% of the profits for life if they rid Wave Echo Cave of Black Spiders presence. Since succeeding, he has honored his bargain, but put the adventurers to work as well. Recently, he realized that all the work they do for him wasn't part of the deal, and has offered to keep them on as "a little more than body guards, call it security specialists" for additional gold. He is a shrewd buisness man, who never forgets his debts. Nundro Rockseeker - The other surviving Rockseeker brother. Helps with the day-to-day of the mine. He doesn't know buisness like Gundren, but is very good at mining. Other employees say that he can mine 3 times the amount of gems any given day than one other man. Tharden Rockseeker (Dead) - The third Rockseeker brother. He was killed by the Black Spider. John (?Dead?) - Although not Bright, John has a very keen mind for mining. They say that he is the only one who could rival Nundro in actual mining. 200 years ago, he was promoted to forman. However, he was turned into a Flaming Skull at some point. He continued to try to have people mine, although the zombies didn't mine very well. He was near the end of his rope trying to get zombies to mine when the party happened by. John was made aware of his fate, and fled the scene to cry. Sooner or later, he came to grips with it, and the Rockseeker brothers rehired him as a forman. Although an "evil undead", he seems quit happy to help with the mines and zips around singing and assisting all in mining. The Rockseeker brothers attribute his experience and ability to direct people (despite being a massive flaming skull) as part of the reason they are so successful. Allu - A spectator who was hired to guard Wave Echo Cave when it was taken over by wizards 200 years in the past. Allu is happy when he is on guard duty, and preforms his duties admirably. Although new minors were wary of Allu at first, his jovial attitude about having work again tends to be infectious, and miners end up really liking him. When dealing with maters of security, Allu tends to act like he is the boss, and the adventurers work under him. Black Spider (Dead) - A drow who overheard Gundren talking about Wave Echo Cave in Phandalin. Was able to sneak a peak at the map, and started a year-long campaign to make the mine his own. He was frustrated by the limited magic of the Forge of Spells, but still wanted the area for his own. Was killed by the player characters. Reidoth - A druid who is attempting to reclaim the Thundertree area, despite his Circle not thinking it's in their best interest. It has been a slow campaign, due to the interference of the dragon Venomfang. Reidoth is very knowledgeable about the areas from Neverwinter to Triboar, but especially so of the Neverwinter Wood, where his circle makes their home. Provided directions to Zelmar's house. Zelmar - An elven Necromancer who worked on the Forge of Spells over 200 years ago. The party was asked to find him to see if he knew how to make the effects of the forge permanent. However, they found that he was frustrated by the fact that it was temporary back then as well. However, the forge allowed him to preform experiments (it was implied in a journal that John was Zelmar's fault), that ultimately cost him his job at the mine. There were notes scattered around his house and lab that indicated that he was providing zombies for an invasion of Neverwinter, and that he knew a way to appoint a sort of zombie master. They also indicated that he found a way to create zombies that had preserved the motor skills they had while alive. Sadly, he had found Lelias' body while in a cadaver expedition to Cragmaw Castle... The Master - An unknown entity referenced in the Dungeon below Wave Echo Cave. Irontooth (Dead) - A fearsome bugbear fighter, veteran of many combats. He was spearheading the goblin attacks around Phandalin at the request of Zelmar. His cave was discovered near Wyvern Tor by Sildar's new spy network. He lost his life when the Heroes of Phandalin came to take him on. Devrett stole his namesake, a tusk made from Iron, by ripping it out of his mouth after he died. Alepur (Dead) - A human wizard who was apprenticed under Zelmar. The party found him experimenting on a corpse, and was attacked by him and a hoard of undead. The fight ended with Alepur dead, and the party taking his robe of useful items. Hrask  - The priest who runs the Temple of Lathander in Leilon. He used to be a member of the Lances of Leilon, but an injury made him leave the militia. He is concerned about the energies that Zelmar released affecting the Tomb of Demara, an old wizard who used to live in the area. It is said that Demara sealed himself with an Orb of Dragonkind before his death, and Hrask is afraid that the magic seal is weakened, and that the ogre Bonegnasher is attempting to get the orb.  Bonegnasher - The "ogre's ogre", a terrible and powerful ogre who was able to kill the wizard Damara, but was unable to prevent him from sealing himself away with the Orb of Dragonkind. 20 years later, upon hearing the seal on Damara's tomb is weakened, Bonegnasher is back.
