Why do my grid lines disappear ?

Happens with dynamic lighting as my players move about the map, the grid lines just disappear, especially on the edges of the map, top and bottom. Ive notice this problem happening for a while now, but not with all my maps.

And are you by chance on an HD/Retina monitor?
Hello All...so to answer some questions, I use a laptop, not sure what the resolution is. I am using jumpgate, and this doesnt happen with every map, mostly just the ones with dynamic lighting. I dont know how to take a screen shot sorry. I use the same resolution for all my maps, however it seems that the larger the map (pixel wise) the more likely the grid will disappear as my tokens move around. Zooming out, the grid is clearly visible, but once you zoom in, the grid starts to fade out.

On dungeonscrawl it's called the Roughness of the Line and you can set Rough 1, or 2, or 3. It just generates a little bit of waviness in the width of the grid-line so that it isn't strictly "1" or infinitely thin. The effect is really interesting how it makes the Grid show up better on ultra-sharp screen resolutions at varying zoom levels. It has the illusion of the grid looking slightly "hand drawn" and resembles Dyson Logos style maps.

I'd rather they just fixed the display issue (assuming it even is an HD issue) than change how interface elements like the grid line look and feel.

Just want to mention it isn't just you, I have the same thing happen sometimes, had Gauss look at it in the past and tried a few things.  Doesn't bother me so stopped looking into it, but when you zoom in the grid disappears, and it isn't the map as sometimes the same map/page is fine and other times the grid disappears. Edit - also only on jumpgate, it has something to do with that as never had a issue with legacy games

Hi Feyte! Does this happen on all maps, or just large ones. I have seen an anecdotal report that the reporter's guidelines only disappeared on very large maps (60x60 plus).

Looking back it seems to happen on my larger scale maps (40x40). Curiously enough yesterday the grid worked fine..I have yet to log in to the game today so who knows if its working properly or not..

It doesnt bother me so much but its annoying, especially during an encounter when tracking movement speed of PCs , etc..
