So I love that these two features are a thing now and that the darkness mask works with dynamic lighting, and I'm absolutely going to use them in my current campaign. But I would like to make a suggestion to improve it. I would love it if we were given the ability to set the effects for darkness mask vs dynamic lighting darkness separately. This way, when a player enters a new area with a magical effect or a mist or something that's obscuring their vision, they know immediately that the darkness isn't being caused by a wall or something that would block their path and that they can actually enter the area of darkness.
