I haven't played D&D in years, and I've been wanting to get back into it. I've been working on a campaign, but I don't know anyone who likes to play D&D. This campaign will start in the Underdark, but will have the majority take place on the surface with a wide variety of terrain. Depending on your decisions, you might be able to travel to different planes of existence! There will be some politics and difficult decisions, but most of the campaign will be focused on action adventure. Social interactions are important in this campaign, but they can also be avoided if you choose. Most combat encounters (but not all) can be defused with some talking and role-playing. I'll also try to work with you to make your character truly feel like it has an impact on the world and campaign. That being said, I do ask that you are 16 years or older because I want to keep the campaign serious and mature. (copy and pasted from a Discord ad I posted) DM Name : Ben Campaign Name : Escape from the Underdark General Description : You and a few others were captured by a drow raiding party and were left in a prison to later be sacrificed to the goddess Lloth . However , something is wrong with the environment , and there may be a greater conflict beyond a ritual sacrifice and extends well beyond the underdark . There will be some politics in this campaign , but most of it will be open -world exploration . When : Friday evening/night and Saturday evening/night , preferably not ending later than 1 1 :00pm CDT . I'm an engineering college student, so that's why I want to play on weekends only. Number of spots open : 4 Experience level : None required All I ask are that you have good hygiene and won 't make an annoying character . Feel free to reply to me if you 're interested in joining :)
Hello my name is Nick and I am interested but I can only play on Fridays afternoonish or early evening like no later than 6pm - 7pm central. If your campaign ends up being in that time window I would like to potentially join. I'm 44 years old and have some experience playing DnD.

If we can find one more player to join us, we can run the campaign :) I'll go ahead and invite you to the Roll20 campaign.

Hello, I am Sparrow and I'm a fan of the Underdark so you got my attention. I am in EST and am free Friday and Saturday evenings, though I'm not sure if the time frame has changed with other player availability? I am an artist so I can generally adjust my availability when needed but can't do late nights (10pm EST is my cut-off generally). Do you emphasize the RP element of Dnd or is your style more set a goal, head for it, get 'er done?
Hi, I am in the Eastern time zone and able to play on Friday or Saturday from about 7pm - 10pm EST.  I'd like to know a few things: is the game using the 2014 rules, the 2024 rules, or a hybrid? What level would the characters start at? Any restrictions on species, classes, methods of setting ability scores, or anything else? Are you using Roll20 for voice&video, or Discord, or some combination, or something else? Why is hygiene important for an online game?
If you're still looking for players I'm interested in hearing more. Please get in touch!
