Is there a way of setting up 'blocks' of iniatives?
What I mean is, if you have several encounters planned, and you want to get your 'monsters' initiatives all rolled up before the game starts, to save time, is there any way of doing this?

Thanks Jarren. I'm not sure if I asked the question clearly. What I meant was, can I roll the initiative for all (using GroupInitiative) the creatures in (for instance) room 1, and then roll the initiative for all the creatures in room two, but have them show up as different groups on the tracker?
I have seen "Commands for Stacks of Initiative" which looks promising. But I am unsure how to make it work (if it does!)
I'm sure you can use some script or another to alter the names of tokens - just give each group a tag that you apply to the start of token names, apply the same tag to player tokens when they're about to fight that group, and sort the initiative first by initiative, then alphabetically. Now all your current encounter initiatives are grouped together, and the other pre-rolled encounters are in groups of their own in the tracker.

Yes, that is exactly what the Commands for Stacks of Initiatives is for. I’m not home at the moment, and I haven’t used it much, but if you’re still struggling to understand how it works then respond back with specific questions and me or someone else should be able to help.
Keeping in mind that I don't have much experience with API's, when I looked at the help for Group Initiative, I found "!group-init --stack [operation] [label]" is this what I should be using. And if yes, then what constitutes a "label"?

I haven't used the Group Initiative Stack system myself, but TheAaron included a bunch of example commands with explanations and screenshots of what happens.
The [label] is for naming that specific group of pre-rolled initiatives.
Nope :(
I have managed to make a list of different initiative groups in the Chat box, but other than that I can't figure out how to :-
A) get them onto the Turn Order list on the VTT or :-
B) get them to change
Again, I do NOT have a great deal (if any) experience with this, so any help (as if to a child!) would be helpful.
