1e WHFRP Character Sheet

hi all... i am an aging grognard who has a passion for 1e WHFRP... my friends and i have been gaming for 30+ years together and whilst we have undertaken a number of campaigns we have yet to face "the enemy within"! i am planning to run this at the end of our current rogue trader adventure (4 years and counting!)

that said, i see that there is no 1e WHFRP character sheet... i know this question has been asked over roll20's existence but so far a character sheet has not been made... i have scoured the various post and cobbled together a fairly decent bunch of macros but an actual character sheet would be epic!

i was wondering whether anyone has one hiding away somewhere or would consider building one... or even steering me to where i could engage a freelancer or equivalent...

anyhow... from a pen and paper luddite... my thanks in advance!

Hi timmysbigdayout,

I see a number (ten I think) of Warhammer Fantasy sheets, none appear to be 1e. Would any of the existing ones work with tweaks?

hey! thanks for the reply... it may be that the 2e sheets could be amended but i am unfamiliar with the system... certainly the basic rolls are probably the same... if the newer versions are anything like rogue trader (which i think they are) then they will have stats, talents etc... whereas wfrp has stats, skills etc... so maybe!!?? tricky part is i dont know the systems to work out how similar... for example... talents change to skills etc... i could talk the back legs of a pergola talking about 1e...

So here is my suggestion: investigate the various Warhammer Fantasy character sheets. Find one that does close to what you want.

If there is anything gamebreaking in what it is doing bring it here. Explain (as if we have never played this game system) what it is doing vs what it needs to be doing.

Then, if you are lucky, a nice person will come along and fork the sheet, make some tweaks, and you can use the tweaked sheet.
It is usually easier to tweak a sheet than it is to create it from scratch.

Warning: the tweaked sheet will almost certainly require a Pro account for one month so you have access to the Custom Character sheet system, but once it is set up you can go back to your desired account level.

many thanks! i shall investigate! more than happy to get a pro account if it means i can play 1e on roll20... that said, if folk were to "fork" a sheet it would be glorious!

Before they can fork a specific sheet they would need to know which sheet you want it based on. So the ball is in your court. :)

many thanks again gauss... i am working on the "basic" format but will likely engage a "IT savant" to create it for me... anyhow... one challenge i am facing into is "tests" vs "skills"... i was wondering generally whether those using a 1e sheet would like buttons to roll for skills next to skills or roll against stats with modifiers (not necessarily a question for you directly, that said, always interested in views!)... main reason i ask is that i can see "hard coding" certain skills would likely cause inflexibility in the game... anyhow... any answers/thoughtson a postcard!

so... this will be more of a random ramblings thread around progress to the completion of a functioning 1e character sheet (i think folk have been considering this for 15 ish years!)... anyhow... any thoughts appreciated... standard tests... worth having buttons or not... i am trying to keep the sheet as close to the original as possible but recognise that some amends may be helpful to support quicker play... that said... "too busy"??

very much a work in progress but... plan is to make it as close to the original as possible... that said... if anyone has a version of the "brown" character pack sheet available it would be greatly appreciated!
