Pan sliders

January 27 (2 weeks ago)

Edited January 27 (2 weeks ago)

On the right hand side and bottom of the page, there is a 'slider' for panning left/right and up/down.

Is there any way of changing the colour of those so that the can be seen/found more easily.

And, yes, I know that you can change 'pan' to be controlled by the mouse, but I prefer to use that for zoom in/out.

You should be able to do that locally with a browser extension like Stylus.

You have some options in Firefox (no extension required).

Goto about:config  - accept the risk and continue

Paste this into the config search box  widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.style

  1. Delete the current 0 value for the default OS style scrollbar.
  2. Then input the value 1 (Mac OS X), 2 (GTX), 3 (Android), 4 (Windows 10), or 5 (Windows 11) in the widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.style box for the scrollbar style you want to change to. For example, enter 4 to change the scrollbar to the default Windows 10 design

I sort of like the 1 (Mac OS X) option, it gives a scrollbar centred on the horizontal and vertical edges
