Allow &{tracker} to add custom items, not just tokens

Score + 10
I'm sure we've all been there - initiative is rolled, but someone didn't have their token selected. Or maybe you're playing in theater of mind, and dragging out tokens just for initiative feels silly. So, why not allow the &{tracker} command to add custom items into the tracker, for example using a character sheet as the source for the name and image of the item, but also with flexibility for custom input. Expanding the functionality of the &{tracker} command in this way would also massively benefit macro writing, as it would allow for smoother use of the tracker for variables.

I’m a Pro subscriber, so I use ScriptCards to do this sort of thing, but I agree that it would be nice.
Some syntax suggestions: &{tracker} Should of course work as is, to not break existing sheets and macros. &{tracker:sheet|character id} Would add a custom item to the tracker, with the name and image of the specified sheet. If the same id sheet is already in the tracker, it is updated instead. &{tracker:custom|label} Would add a custom item to the tracker, with no image and with the name given. If the name already exists in the tracker, it is updated instead.
This would be really handy.  Lots of games tend to use theatre of the mind rather than tokens on a battle map which makes the existing system very cludgy.  Players have to manually drag their token out into scene (which looks gross when it's not a battle map), then click on the token, then go back to the character sheet and click the initiative button.  I have a macro so they don't have to go back to the sheet to hit the button, but they still have to drag their token over and click the token before using the macro.  The proposed idea would make it so people could just hit the initiative button on a sheet (once the sheet is updated to support it) and it'd go right to the tracker, no muss no fuss.  This would be so much less confusing for everyone and save several steps.  I can't count how many times I've had to explain all the steps somebody has to go through to roll their initiative and get it to go into the tracker with the existing setup.
