Trouble with Dynamic Lighting

In the middle of today's game, one of my players was suddenly able to see the entire map, as if I had turned off dynamic lighting. None of the other players were affected. I tried: Rebooting (both of us) Turning DL on and off Booting him from the game and having him rejoin I even tried loading a different game that he's also a part of. Same problem: he see's 100 % of any map, regardless of DL or token settings. Anyone else encounter this bug before?  MEDM
UPDATE: The issue appears to be with Chrome. I had him log on with different browser, and everything worked correctly. Is this a known issue with Chrome users?

I've had players with potato computers have that happen to them. Creating issues such as running out of memory. Which browser they were using can also impact that.  Put another way, this isn't a general issue with Chrome that I've heard reported. I suspect it was a specific instance your player ran into. Perhaps ran into a memory issue which caused the DL layer to fail.  Was this in Jumpgate or in Legacy Roll20?

Jumpgate was supposed to be better regarding this. I would file a bug report with the Devs via the Help Center . Tell them which browser your player was using, and what the player's hardware specs are.

Does the player with the issue have an extension that would block the execution of JavaScripts? IIRC, that is pretty essential for Dynamic Lighting to function.
