Unfortunately both the compact and the stat block versions of the 2024 sheets for monsters and NPCs are still almost unusable compared to the 2014 version. You really need to work on the stat block version in particular because it's the only one that's at least somewhat promising, but its layout and readability are poor at the moment. As of now, it's very hard to recommend using the updated sheet for the new Monster Manual on Roll20, and unfortunately if you use the new creatures with the 2014 sheet, you don't get any spells on the sheet, which turns many stat blocks unusable out of the box.
Did prep work for this change my games Compendium Sharing to include 2024 content?  Seems to have happened at least 8.5 hours ago...?

Can you be specific on what is creating your readability issues? We have adjusted the layouts of the statblocks for 2024 to reflect what Wizards has published in their updated/streamlined view. FIs it the dark mode that is making it tough for you? I want to unpack "unusable." Can you be specific about what use cases in particular are you looking for when it comes to the 2024 sheet that you don't have access to for NPCs? When it comes to using the 2024 monsters on the 2014 sheet, I want to be clear that we’re officially supporting D&D 2024 content on the 2024 sheet and working every day to update improvements. There are perks of the 2024 sheet, like multiple views, HP tracking, and easy drag-and-drop customization - and while you can view 2024 monsters ON the 2014 sheet, they are were not designed with the same architecture which means that converting 2024 creatures to 2014 view will list spells, but won't provide the full 2014 spell sheet.

Hi Anne! Can you elaborate on "HP Tracking"? What about this is different on the 2024 sheet?
Alright, testing this out...something simple I can't seem to do so I must be missing the obvious.  Jumpgate + 2024 sheets + 2024 monster manual...I can't find out how to quickly roll initiative for, say, 10 monsters at once.  With the 2014 sheets and macros, this was a very very common one-button press.  I'm sure I'm missing something obvious...help?
Thanks team! I'm seeing a lot of tokens now just have words instead of art (e.g. cultist) -- is that something that will be updated?

Even on classic, this took a script or perhaps a plugin to roll for multiple creatures. The solution then is the same as now: The Group Initiative mod script has been updated to account for both Jumpgate and the 2024 5e sheet.

The 2024 stat block view only has a single column, which necessitates scrolling even for very simple creatures. The overall text is much more difficult to parse at a glance because it uses very few tricks to make it readable. For example, which of the two exaggerated examples is easier to parse quickly: AC 16 Hp 20 Saves +2 +3 +4 +8 +8 Resistances poison, fire / Vulnerabilities n/a / Immunities n/a Darkvision 60 ft., truesight 30 ft., Passive Perception 15 Attacks +6 melee, 1d6+2 piercing damage / Ranged +6 Versus: AC 16 Hp 20 Saves +2   +3   +4    +8     +8 Resistances poison, fire Darkvision 60 ft.   /    Truesight 30 ft.   /    Passive Perception 15 Attack  +6 melee, 1d6+2 piercing damage Attack +6 ranged, 1d6+2 piercing damage It's just basic layout and kerning and other elements like that, which make the current 2024 stat block view way less usable than the 2014 sheet. The compact view is even worse because you can't get anything useful out of it at a glance

I might be missing something, but I couldn't find a way to change the whisper settings on the 2024 NPC sheets. The way I run games is to roll in the open so players know everything is fair. With every roll being private (GM only), it kinda makes all of these stat blocks in the new design unusable for me. Also, the initiative bonuses are not correct when you use the 2014 sheet. So as of right now, my only option in using the content I bought on Roll20 is to have a workaround in the old sheet to fix the initiative (for each monster individually) by switching the sheet to PC and updating the initiative modifier there, then reverting the sheet back to the NPC version. I also agree with readability issues, needing to scroll for a lot of the information that was previously on a single view. The less I have to interact with the NPC sheet while I'm running the game, the more attention I can spend on what my players are doing and how I should respond. Instead, you wind up scrolling through the pop-up sheet that isn't formatted to fit neatly into the window. To fix this, you would have to manually change the window size for every monster. These small issues don't sound like much trouble on paper, but in practice it is a lot of bloat being added to running a game.

It's a number of clicks, but to change the whisper/advantage settings, change the view to regular or compact. The controls are then visible. Then change back to Statblock view. It would be nice if the attributes were exposed and settable by something like ChatSetAttr, then it could be set by a macro (at least at the Pro subscription level).
I wanted to say that I am wishing that the 2024 monster manual journals were more complete. They are missing the field "Gear". Also if the monster is proficient or has expertise with initiative, I have to correct that manually.   Everything else looks good including the errata.

I am seeing gear on every creature that has gear that I have tested. (The field doesn't exist on the 2014 sheet, which should probably be rectified.) Can you give an example where the field is missing outside of this case? I'll make a report, if so. Also, expertise with initiative should be accounted for. Again, can you point out some exceptions, disregarding the 2014 sheet?
I haven’t had a chance to look this morning to see if there were any updates (I’m on mobile), but the big thing keeping me from switching 2025 monster manual sheets to their default is the lack of easily available toggle from advantage/disadvantage and whisper/public roll on the statblock option. The stat block option is by far my preferred way of looking at monster sheets, as the standard and compact versions are too cluttered for me to be able to focus in on anything. But I don’t want to have to go through a number of clicks after I spent the $30 for this whole thing to still be inconvenient for me. Until then, I’ve set the default statblock to the 2014 sheet.

It is showing on the sidebar if you are listing monsters It's not showing when you drag the monster to the game - where would be way more useful to have it shown I really would like the Treasure to appear!

You are showing the 2014 sheet. As I said, there just isn't a field on that sheet, though it would be nice if there were.
