Text Overlay set to Hidden and can't change

So I'm prepping for a new campaign and the tokens setup on the maps have their text overlay for health bars set to Hidden. I read somewhere that it can be caused by Game Settings having the Bar Style set to "Compact" but I checked the Game Settings and that is not the case, so whats the fix for this?

You have attempted to change on the token? If you open the token settings and hover over the 3-dots next to each bar, you can set the Text Overlay to be "Hidden", "Visible to Editors", or "Visible to Everyone". Are you saying you've tried to change it here, and you can't?
Yes when I try changing the Text Overlay from Hidden it gives my cursor a cancel symbol and will not allow me to change it. I'm also looking for a way to change this for multiple tokens or for tokens on a map.

As far as setting it for many tokens on a map, I believe Aaron was going to work on getting this exposed to the API so that something like TokenMod could set it for you... and you could add {&select} criteria statements to get you the tokens you need (NPCs, PCs, tokens named "Bob the...", or all tokens on a map) without having to click on them. Not sure what the timing of that would be. As for the cursor changing to a cancel symbol... what kind of game is it (Jumpgate? Transmogged components, or existing? Was this working previously?) The more info the better it might help someone recognize what is going on -- but it may be that this requires a ticket to Roll20.
It is a new Jumpgate game I'm using a module for Crown of the Oathbreaker.
