Custom attributes in new sheets?

February 19 (5 months ago)

Hi folks,

Is it possible to add custom attributes in the new sheets? I can't see how and searching has proved fruitless.

Thanks

If by "new sheets" you mean the D&D 5e (2024) Sheet, you can add custom attributes by clicking on the "Advanced Tools" in the header. This functions like the Attributes and Abilities tab in the older sheets. Then click on the "Attributes" button and lastly on "+ New Attribute".

Thats intriguing. Do you know if it's using a publically available sheet worker (or series of them), or is just making the attributes tab available here too?

Sheet design code intricacies are often beyond me. That might be a better question for someone like Scott C.

Not sure of exactly how they're doing, but it's something that beacon sheets are capable of. Off the top of my head, they are likely using the beacon capability to handle legacy attribute calls to resolve chat calls to these.
