[LFG] D&D 5e - Beginner DM Looking for players! [Beginner friendly]

Hey there! I'm new to DM'ing and also fairly new to D&D - have only been playing for less than a year. I'm looking for expressions of interest from both new or experienced players who are okay with a new DM that is definitely going to make mistakes, but is absolutely focused on making the game enjoyable for the players :)  What will we play? Undecided currently! But I'm okay for pretty much anything 5e whether it's some one shots to start out with or we dive into a campaign. When would we play? We'd aim for weekly sessions, and Saturdays or Sundays 10-10PM AEST ( Window! Not the session length :D ) A bit about me: I'm 29 and based in Australia. As far as playstyle goes, I'm still figuring that out! I'm happy to adapt to what the players want, but if it gives any insight, I love playing Bard as a player. I also dabble a little bit in voice acting and I hope to be able to use this as an immersion tool. My first introduction actually to D&D was the horror stories! I probably listened to hours of Critcrab before joining a game, and I wanted to make sure I never did anything to end up in one of those tales! As such, while I am a fresh canvas of a DM, ready to be painted, there are a couple of things I feel strongly about: 1. Player focused - My primary goal is to ensure players are having the best experience they can. Unless you're someone that would be the antagonist in a Critcrab tale, if you're unhappy with something then that means I need to do better. Simple as that! 2. Vibing with your fellow player  - It blows my mind a bit that some people can play a campaign for a year with people they are either uncomfortable with, or just don't vibe well with. The way I see it, you're choosing to spend time with other people first , and playing the game second . While this doesn't mean being official friends outside the game and talking all the time, I want to make sure every player gets along with each other well and that there's a solid vibe. As such for 2 , the one rule I have is that every player has to have a 1on1 call with each other player before games begin. Just as a simple meet and greet. I feel my first game really would have benefited from this, especially as a new player. Roleplaying for the first time with strangers is scary; a lot easier when they're no longer strangers! - So, sorry for the wall of text! But to cut a long story short, if you're interested please drop a comment or send me a DM. We can then hop on a discord call (at your convenience), have a chat and see if we vibe! If so awesome, and if not it's no biggie! At the end of day what I'm looking for might not be what you're looking for, and that is totally okay. And if you want to ask questions without the call that's fine too!
Interested, DM'd!!
