I would have posted this in the SpawnDefaultToken official thread, but Roll20 inexplicably locks post replies after two months on important posts(would be nice if supported scripts didn't have their post replies locked).
The issue stems from the expand feature when dynamic lighting is enabled, there are non-transparent walls, and the spawned token has vision. When you spawn the token, it is able to see through the walls in a strange "light ray" pattern. I should say that this doesn't happen every time, however. I've added an image below, the bat token was the one spawned.
