Turn Order Yellow Outline Showing for Players on GM Layer hidden Tokens?

Is there any way to make it so you can track the turn order of a token on the turn tracker without allowing your players to see it's location (invisible, hidden, unknown, etc.) by mousing over it on the turn order list? Is this the intended behavior? I hate it.

Hi JamesMusicus,  If a token is on the GM layer the players cannot see the creature in the turn order.

I put my monster tokens used by the Turn Tracker under Fog of War (whatever it's called now). I've been doing this since 2014 with no trouble at all.

Maybe I misunderstood what I did to hide the creature or did things in the wrong order, but my players definitely just told me they moused over the turn order and saw the location of a GM layered creature.

For reproduction:  What character sheet are you using for the game?  Is it Jumpgate or Legacy?  What are your dynamic lighting settings for the page? (Screenshots of the page settings would be useful)  Are any of your players promoted to GM?  Did you confirm this with a Dummy account?  Are you sure that the tokens in question are on the GM layer? Can you post a screenshot showing the GM layer? If a token is on the GM layer, it should not display on the Turn Tracker for players at all, and therefore there shouldn’t be a name for them to mouse over and outline the token on the VTT.  If GM layer tokens are showing up in the Turn Tracker, and the players are not promoted co-GMs, then that sounds like a bug. It’ll need to get reproduced for devs to address it.

My guess is that the creature was not on the GM layer, but perhaps there was a bug.  I would suggest having a dummy account log in on one browser, your GM account on the other. See what the dummy account can see.  If the dummy account sees the token then please verify what layer the token is on.  Note: On the GM side of things when a token is on the GM layer and in the turn order the text for that creature is "faded" in the turn order. (see image)
We're playing Jumpgate. I added the token to the Token Layer, added it to the turn order, and then moved it to the GM layer, and the players that were in the game at the same time could still see it, but the one that left and rejoined could not.
No dynamic Lighting, no GM promotion, no character sheet. Screenshot shows my GM perspective of the only lurker in the turn order being slightly transparent from being on the GM layer.

Thank you for those reproduction steps. I was able to reproduce this bug. I will let the Devs know. Until the Devs fix this there are two ways to deal with this.  1) Make sure creatures are on the GM layer before adding them to the turn order.  2) Add a new creature to the turn order. This forces the turn order to update and will remove all GM layer creatures from player view.  Note: this appears to be an "update" issue on the turn order. It is not updating except for during add token events. It should update on other event changes (name permissions, which layer it is on, etc.).
Two new details: Tokens added to the turn tracker while on the GM layer don't appear on player turn trackers when moved to the Token Layer either. For the moment, Sorting the turn tracker seems to update the GM Layer/Token Layer Status of any tokens that have moved layers since they were added to the tracker.
Thank you Gauss, seeing the bug report guidelines scared me off the idea of submitting one myself. Gauss said: Thank you for those reproduction steps. I was able to reproduce this bug. JameMusicus, I also discovered that using the left/right Turn Order buttons will also update the Turn Order correctly. I suggest using those instead rather than adding a new creature.
