File erroneously reporting too large

A 35mb animated map .mp4 file is being declared too large (>100mb for Pro) by trad Roll20. This isn't even close and very frustrating since Roll20's webm rendering is awful and takes hours to load in even small files. Is there a solution I'm missing? Please note that "use Jumpgate" is NOT a solution since it doesn't support many things that I require for running slick games.

Hi MykeMyke, Out of curiousity, what does Jumpgate not support (that you need for your games)? Edit: have you tried uploading in Jumpgate? Yes, I know you said "use Jumpgate" is not a solution, but you can upload in Jumpgate and then use it in Legacy.

I have a Jumpgate game “Art Library” that I use just for managing my art library. It’s much more pleasant than Classic.

Until that is sorted none of the streamlining that I have for my TotM or running NPCs (shout out to Jarren for Macro Mule) will work. Also VTTES doesn't work with JumpGate so layer tags aren't visible. Together those failures make running slick games an order of magnitude harder. No thank you!

Thank you for answering. The 2024 sheet is not a Jumpgate issue, it is a character sheet issue that exists whether in Jumpgate or Legacy. As for VTTES, that is not a Roll20 issue, it is an issue with whoever made the 3rd party extension.

I just rolled out a hotfix for this, so you shouldn't run into this issue anymore on non-Jumpgate games. Would you mind checking again for me and letting me know if it works for you now, please? You might need to hard refresh.

Following the same Update that got-us the new 100MB limit.... your webm loading should be much faster (extremely much faster). Roll20 announced that improvement in the same announcement as the 100MB. Read this blog if interested, https://blog.roll20.net/posts/jumpgate-update-upload-animations-with-ease/

I'll check that it completed in the morning and confirm on here.

The only reason to use JumpGate (for me) is for the 2024 sheet, and since that doesn't currently meet my needs I am not interested yet.
@Nicholas - fix confirmed good. Thank you!
