Move Items in the map layer with macros

March 19 (2 weeks ago)

Im trying to accomplish a simple map where there are a few guides that i can place on top. Im working on porting a board game with many different board settups and id like to be able to place "deployment zones" down which are based on a card draw overlayed on top of the map. I have looked into the summon API to just summon the overlayed graphic over the map but i cant get it to track the actual thing since its in the map layer. Ive also messed with token mod but once i create the macro as a relay it breaks. Is there a way to macro a selector to simply place 1 of 6 transparent objects in the map layer in front of the actual map and then also be able to reset it?

Can you expand on "once i create the macro as a relay it breaks"?

Also, if the image does not need to move, you can use a rollable token and have one face be an invisible token and change them using token mod (assuming the token mod issue you cited doesn't forbid).
