Looking for Players for 1-Shot teaching by playing a scene or two in Marvel Multiverse Date 3/28/25 Time 4:15pm Pacific (GMT-8)

Hi,

I recently read through the Marvel Multiverse Roleplaying Game Corebook.  I am now wishing to practice the rules and run a few scenes for players (new to roleplaying or not) who enjoy Marvel/Superheroes and wish to learn the system or just having some free time and willing to participate with others to enjoy a session of playing Marvel Superheroes.

This is not a full campaign, though I do plan on running other one-shots within this campaign and maybe occasionally run some multiple session episodes for players new to the system or roleplaying in general.  Experienced players are welcome as well, so long as they understand that I will be teaching new players on the fly as we run through different scenes.

Anyway, if you don't have time for the above date, maybe you can make one-shot later.

I have a prior commitment on the 28th, but yeah, maybe I could make it for a different one shot in the future. I picked up the game recently myself, joined a game that has been going for a little while but definitely still learning.

Upcoming adventure to begin on 4/4/2025

New York City is a jungle.  A concrete jungle.  And at night the jungle's creatures come out.  Scavengers.  Human rats.  Scum traveling in packs, preying on the slow and weak.

But the packs are hunted, too -- by wolves.  Lone Wolves.  SUPERHEROES who patrol the jungle paths alone.  You can become Daredevil, the 'Man without Fear'.  Or the beautiful but deadly Black Widow.  Or one of the Heroes for Hire, Power Man or Iron Fist.  You can play any character Rank 2 or 3 from the core book that has the Heroic Tag.  The characters should be those that typically work alone or in small groups (like a duo). 

The adventure was originally created for the aforementioned characters but players will not be limited to just those 4.  Players who participate in more than one session is strongly encouraged to keep the same character throughout the adventure.  Replacement characters can continue to play PCs that were used previously or choose another character.

You job? Prey on the predators who hunt the weak.  If you succeed, the city is safe.  But if you fail . . .

I would be interested in any future openings you have in a Marvel game.

for many years in the deep past I ran many Champions campaigns face to face with friends. Been looking for a playable ruleset with minor crunch to get into for Roll20. MM sounds like it might do the job and has good support. Just bought the physical book. Please keep me in mind for a future session!
