Showing the image of a rolltable

March 28 (2 weeks ago)

I feel like I am missing something.

SO I built a macro to roll the roll table, but the icon that I loaded doesnt show in the output?  Surely there is a way to access the image and show it in the chat?

I have searched around, and either you cant do it, or I dont know how to search for it.

Any help?

Without a Pro account, there are two ways to use a Rollable Table:

1. Roll the table and get the text output of an item on the table. (Click on the Roll button, or use a roll command in chat such as [[1t[[Tablename]]]) This does not show the image associated with that item.

2. Click on the 'Token' button on the Rollable Table from the sidebar to create a Multisided Token. This does not use the text from the item in any way.

Slight correction - using the /r roll command for a table does show (a very small rendition of) the associated image of the result. Additionally, if you roll for random side of a multi-sided token (which does not use the weightings of the rollable table the token was created from), the resulting random side is shown for each selected multi-sided tokens. There is, however, a way to randomly show an image in a template without using a table, using inverse overwrite and linking the images in the template rows in the form of [ ](image url).
