Interactive Map Key

I don't think this is possible, but thought I'd ask here just in case.

I'd like to have a city map with a legend/key. You know, Town Hall, Barracks, Sword & Shield Inn, etc.

But what I would dearly want is to have it interactive, like when you mouse-over a PC it highlites the PC's position in the turn order, and vice-versa.

So, when you mouse-over "Town Hall" on the key/legend, it will highlite a number token over the building and when you mouse-over the building, it would highlight the name on the key/legend.

I don't think that is natively possible with a script, unless you were to somehow employ the turn tracker. If you were to use a macro to assign a turn to each name token on the map (the names would need to be graphics for this to work), you would wind up with a list that would work in one direction, I.e. hovering over the name in the legend (the tracker) would highlight the label. But you couldn't do it the other way around.

Have you looked at the map key functions of the Reporter mod? It doesn't work quite like you are describing, but has a lot of other cool features, like ping-pulling to the key symbol, filtering, detailed notes for each map symbol that are easy to edit, making handouts and a lot more.

Maybe using the tooltip with Reporter perhaps
