I could not find this in the forums.  I just recently started using !bump, but the 'invisible' token is still visible to the players.  I imagine that this is a simple fix, but I could not find an answer with a Google search or searching these forums.

Hi Bryan! Is the token that was bumped one they had control over, maybe? Open up the bump slave and check the permissions on the auras.I haven't run into that issue, and I use Bump pretty extensively.

No.  This is a creature token that nobody has control over but me (GM).

Ah, I think I may know why now.  I also use 'Aura/Tint HealthColors' mod.  I guess these two cannot run at the same time?

Potential Solution type !aura and make sure the following things are NO Use tint Show NPC Health PC Sees all NPC Names maybe - One Offs - I have it turned off, not sure what it does, forgot.  if that doesn't work, lmk - I may have another solution.

Ty, but if I set 'Show NPC Health' to No then that kind of defeats one of the main purposes of the Aura/Tint mod?  I want my players to see if the creatures are hurt, but I don't want to show the standard health bars on the token. Your suggestion works, but if I have to choose between Health auras and the Bump mod, then Health Auras win.  :)

Heh, I didn't even think of Health Auras. DX Warlock is a great guy, but I absolutely do not like that script. It has caused more issues like that above than I can count.

There was a patched version of AuraTint that ignored Bump's tokens for this.  I'll have to see if I can find it, or just submit a patch to fix that.  Basically what's happening here is that bump creates transparent tokens with all the properties of the tokens it is hiding on the GM layer, and then keeps the two in sync.  Since they are identical except for the image, AuraTint just sees them as more copies of the same character, and puts the auras on them as usual.

I have a custom Aura, might be the one your talking about, but this has the aura turned off, as I only cared for the blood splat, healing fx, auto dead tokenmarker and SFX. I'd like to use aura for other stuff from time to time. that was going to be my second solution but since OP wants to share NPC health status report - defeats the purpose. I like the drama and tension of not knowing that meta info of npc health and just give them visual descriptors. Its looks pretty bad, pretty beat up, etc etc to give them an idea if they're listening.

I use The Aaron's script that puts a bloodied token marker on a token at half HP.
Bryan - if you want - you can use the bloodied token marker that Keith is suggesting and turn off the npc health, thus you get to use bump. imo, long term, bump > aura tint for DM sanity.
