D&D 5E (2024) Character Sheet by Roll20 - Link actions to an existing resource from a class feature or inventory item

I've added some customized actions to my player's sheets, and I would like the associated buttons on the combat tab to include check boxes for tracking related resources, like channel divinity charges or consumable items. I see this on actions and items that are provided by the character builder, but I can't figure out how to add them to anything that I write in myself.

I'm using the 5E 2024 sheet and the free version of Roll20.

EDIT - a little bit more poking around just now and I finally noticed how to do this for class features, but I still need help with items.

On the features & traits tab, setting an action type for a feature that has a resource modifier will create an action on the combat tab with the check boxes.

For items, I can add a "new resource" modifier to anything in the inventory tab, but I don't see anywhere to link that to an action.

If you use the 2024 D&D sheet, you had better get used to not writing things yourself.

Oops, I went 2024 because I thought it looked nicer. I'm hoping these are just growing pains from my learning to use roll20 and it's not actually impossible. Thanks for the reply!

Hi Bacon!

The developers have indicated that this capability is something they plan to implement. I don't know if they have announced any time frame.

Hello Bacon -

This is indeed not currently possible on the D&D 2024 sheet, but it is something we want to do. I don't have a time frame on when we will get to implementing. However, it's also not possible with the D&D 2014 sheet without a Mod script and API access that comes with a Pro account.
