Hey Kefrem! Jumpgate is a rewrite of the underlying code of Roll20. It's more modern and extensible, reducing the development cycle time. It's more efficient with memory, handles animations better, and contains all of the latest interface improvements. There are still a few rough spots, but I've been using it for about 4-5 months now and have no desire to go back. You can convert an existing game to Jumpgate, but you can't convert back. Converting makes a copy of your old game, but I have been just duplicating the game and choosing Jumpgate for the duplicate.
