Hello, looking for 2 more players for our chronicles of darkness campaign! 

Prelude Campaign - The Playhouse

The prelude will be for getting new and returning players back into the game! This will lead to an epic campaign later on!

Hello! I’m not new to CofD but it’s been a while since I’ve had a regular chronicle. 

I’d love to join the game. I especially love mixed-splat chronicles because of the different viewpoints characters bring, and because of being able to avoid stepping on others’ “niche” (ensuring everyone gets to have their moments!)

I’d plan to play a Deviant, ideally. Potentially a “sunmoner” who can do very little himself, but unleash things from his tattoos? 

My main thing is complementing the group though, so happy to fill gaps - I love getting creative with Deviant. A Beast would be my second choice, aiming to amp-up all the other characters.

I'll throw in my own interest to the group.  Been a while since I played a Chronicles game, and thankfully its a far easier prospect to run a multi-splat game with this system compared to the Old World of Darkness. Where everyone just kind of hated each other. But in Chronicles, since there's not as much of a divide. A Vampire and a Werewolf having a civil conversation with each other can be the norm as opposed to an extremely unusual and potentially dangerous occurrence.

The only actual conflict typically comes with the designated antagonist factions like Seers or the Pure.

So consider me interested. I'm also of the mind to make something that better fits in to the group's niche as opposed to hitting you right away with a concept. But I do have a few open ended ideas that can easily mesh with the group:

The first being that of a rather PTSD-ridden (or as close to PTSD as they can have) Uratha. One who through a glorious, but tragic, battle lost his Pack. And Werewolves, being terribly social creatures, need packs to function. He still has the urge to Hunt. To fulfill the Oath of the Moon. And so now he's currently trying to find others to which he can bond with and work together with to fulfill his natural purpose to protect the border between worlds.

The next being that of a Changeling. A trickster and former scion of a multi-million dollar company. Having been caught and ensnared in the clutches of the True Fae, escaping through wit and charm. Only to find his life replaced and whatever thing that was replacing him now untouchable thanks to the resources that were rightly his. Currently looking around for allies in an attempt to move himself into a position to reclaim what was his. And as one touched by the Fae, he'll certainly pay his debts and remember those who aided him along the way.

And lastly, that of an Awakened. Although I can imagine you already have an Awakened or two. But I might as well chance my arm. A crackpot theorist, shunned even by the most eccentric of the Mysterium for his wild theories on the nature of Atlantis. As he believes that the truth lies hidden in the Fallen World beyond what most scholars would believe. That the other Night Folk are reflections of the inhabitants Supernal Realms. And it is only through the understanding of the world around them could the path to the Supernal be reforged.

Hi! I have never played VtM before but I've watched a bit of live play and it looks really cool - would you be okay taking on a complete newbie? 

I will also say up front I have a pre-existing commitment on Saturdays until 4pm EST but I can be available after that without issue. 

Hello! Like *Ally* I do have a pre-existing commitment on Saturdays until about 4 PM, so if that would disqualify me from participating, then just say the word and no hard feelings. That said, I've been playing WoD games on and off since the 90s and would be interested in giving this one a shot.

If you're up for anything, then I'd love to give playing a fallen angel of the God Machine a try. The Demon book's been sitting on my shelf for ages and I've never had an opportunity to use it. If you'd rather something a little less out there, then I think some sort of changeling could probably fit into just about any story. Having said that, roleplaying is my first concern; as in portraying a somewhat believable character that's consistent with a reasonably grounded setting to collaboratively tell an interesting story. If this game is more likely to focus primarily on our character's zany powers and how best to exploit them to benefit the "party" as it attempts to complete "quests," then I wish you well, but it probably wouldn't be my thing.
