New Update 7/2 -- Introducing the Marketplace!

There's a new update out today, the main feature of which is full integration with the newly-launched Roll20 Marketplace. The Marketplace is a new online store which features thousands of free and premium assets made by some great members of the RPG community -- including hundreds of tokens that are brand new by some great new artists. You can browse the Marketplace and tag any assets that are free as well as any premium assets that you've purchased, which will add them to Your Library (similar to starring them in the Art Library searches). There's also a new Your Library page on the Marketplace which makes it even easier to manage your uploads. An embedded version now appears when you click the "Star" icon next to the search box in the Art Library tab in Roll20. (It also includes a button for uploading if you don't want to drag and drop uploads anymore -- yay!) You'll notice that there will now be a lot more results from the "Marketplace" in Art Library searches (replacing the old, limited "Built In" search). Any assets that are free on the Marketplace that show up in your results you'll be able to use right away just by dragging and dropping. Those that are premium you have the option to buy right from inside Roll20 and use right away. Hopefully this update will provide the Roll20 Community with even more art assets to use to make some great campaigns, as well as a much-needed and improved Art Library management system. https://marketplace.roll20.net There's also a great new trailer video showing a sneak preview of a few of the features we're working to bring you in the coming months: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAFTAhU12Do&feature=youtu.be&hd=1 Thanks, Riley
That's a very good news. And the new features hinted at in the video are really exciting. Congratulations!
tablet support you say, hmm
Bump!
Yay for the new features :) Is the marketplace the main way you plan to make money or will roll20 have a subscription fee or Ads on it one day? Just curious - eitherway I'll still use it!
The video shows that some very interesting features are coming to Roll20. Good!
Has anyone actually purchased any stuff through the marketplace yet? Just wondering.
@Flo -- there will be some subscription elements for premium features, but the basic tabletop will remain free. We won't need ads if people use the subscriptions and marketplace. That's up to you all. :) @MrG-- Yes. An alright amount so far and we'll be doing some advertising to help increase numbers.
Good news indeed. :-)
Is there a way to tie this in with a service like Dundjinni, so that way we can tie in an account with their assets?

Is there a way to tie this in with a service like Dundjinni, so that way we can tie in an account with their assets? I am an admin on Dundjinni and a long time contributor there. In concept, I love the idea. Unfortunately the DJ assets are not tied to the posters directly, accept by their initials in the attachment name. Many of us were hoping that the next version of the forum would contain artist profiles and galleries, it has never come to pass and I doubt it will. Even the searches are not attachment based but tied only to posts. It is a shame because there is a lot of fantastic work there.
So far I've run into an issue that, with premium content, buying it in theory adds the whole set to your library, while adding a whole set of free assets is painful and must be done on asset-by-asset basis. I hope this is not intentional discouraging of free content use.

I have already bought a couple of Devin Night's token packs for use in another vtt (which we are abandoning for roll20). Is there a way that I can unlock those token packs in roll20 so that I do not have to upload them and use my online storage amount?
