Hi there, I'm a total newbie to D&D, I have sat in on a few D&D sessions and have played Baldur's Gate 3 to completion twice, but realise this is not a stand-in for experience. I am still getting to grips with the rules and rolling system, etc. I have a few ideas for a character: a female human cleric of Sharess who is the most fleshed out, but I also have the idea for a male tiefling paladin or a male githyanki ranger who are more in the concept stages. I think playing the human character would probably best for a starter character. I have discord so can play on discord if necessary but may need patience and rules explained to me at times.
