Bonus Attack Hit Roll Combat Effect applied when turned off and deleted

I was attempting to make a Hex Bonus Damage effect using the "Add Effect" under the Combat tab of my character sheet. I accidentally made it apply +6 to hit when turned on instead of +1d6 dmg. I created a new effect that correctly applied this bonus to the damage roll instead and deleted this old "Hex Bonus Damage(+6 to hit)" effect. Now when no effects are turned on every one of my attack rolls with any weapon automatically have this effect turned on with a "inactive on sheet" subtext under it. I've manually added the effect with the same name back onto my sheet and re-deleted it but this bonus to hit is always applied and turned on without existing on my character sheet.  This makes it incredibly cumbersome to de-select this bonus for every attack done. How do I remove this remnant without recreating my character sheet from scratch?
