It can be done character sheet by character sheet as you add NPCs and monsters but not globally as a default. Roll20 provides some guidance that this is coming but it's missing from the roadmap. Does anyone know approximate timeline for this being added back in? 2) Does Roll20 have a hotkey to assign Advantage/Disadvantage on a roll like DDB does where you can hold SHIFT for Advantage and CTRL for Disadvantage? 3) Is there some way to force all attack rolls to be rolling 2d20 and showing the result of each but not doing it as 2 separate rolls in the chat log without using macros? 4) What is the purpose of the "Automatic" selection in the drop-down at the top of the 2024 character sheet? It seems too inefficient to use Query and have to click multiple times every single attack roll. Thanks! 1. These default settings have moved to the Character Sheet Settings section of the VTT sidebar. Right now we only have a default NPC layout, but that's where the rest of those settings will go. There isn't a timeline on this, but the plan is to slowly add them in over time while we work on larger features. 2. No but this is a great idea and I'll bring it back to the team. 3. You can use advantage/disadvantage for this and just take whichever result is relevant. If you want it automatically for all attacks only, you can create a feature on a sheet, add a modifier to it (at the bottom of the edit feature form), and add Advantage/Disadvantage > Attacks > All. Then, when the sheet is set to Automatic, it will recognize that you want advantage on all attacks and include that in its calculations. 4. As I just mentioned, automatic will calculate a lot of bonuses, advantage, etc without you needing to do any work. For example, if you're a barbarian and turn on the Rage effect, it will recognize that you should have advantage on all strength saving throws and ability checks. If your sheet is set to Automatic, when you roll a strength ability check or saving throw, it will roll with advantage automatically. The downside of this is that there are a good chunk of things that the sheet doesn't know if the condition applies, because loading those conditionals into compendium data was too complicated to pull off. So for many of those things, we use the query modal. To use the fighter as an example this time, at level 13, you get a feature that lets you attack with advantage if your last attack was a miss (more or less). So, if you are in query mode, when you roll an attack it will give you a small blurb explaining why that option is there, and let you choose whether or not it applies. I personally use query mode on my own sheets because it lets me get the most out of all the advanced data we managed to load into the compendium. I guess I don't find it inefficient because I play spellcasters at least as often as not and in that case, there's no avoiding a second click anyway to accommodate the possibility of upcasting. I want to move my attacks to the top, my heals to the bottom, and sort them by how much they do, and I simply cannot do it within the first quick access section for Combat. I feel it should be simple to just drag them around, because I feel I could just do that whenever I wanted in the 2014 sheets. This is coming in the new sheets. It's not particularly simple to implement, but this is what all our current effort is dedicated towards, so please be patient just a bit longer :)
