D&D 2024 Attack Makro

In the past I used to have Makros for the main Attack and Spell. But with the 2024 Character Sheets this does not work any longer. ``` %{selected|repeating_attack_$0_attack} %{selected|repeating_npcaction_$0_npc_action} ``` How do I have to change this for the new character sheets? Cheers

Hi Torsten! The new D&D 5e (20w4) Sheet was created using a new development environment called Beacon. It allows for a lot more easily implemented capabilities and automation on the sheet, but it interacts with the VTT in an entirely different way. That sort of macro is currently impossible to achieve with this kind of sheet. There has been the stated intent that the sheet will eventually possess something similar, but I have never heard a timeline.
Hi Curtis, thanks a lot for the detailed answer. As a DM it gets a lot harder to run a campaign, not being able to use the makros any longer. If I would have known this before, I would have choosen the old character sheets and probably not take the step towards the 2024 edition. Thanks again.

I agree, and the lack of macro ability is the chief of my remaining dissatisfaction with the Beacon sheet. I run a hybrid sheet game with players on Beacon, and most of the NPCs on 2014, unless they are significant spellcasters.
