Old character sheets not being able to be put down.

Hello, This is the first time I've created a campaign and I'm running into issues with putting down Characters. I made characters before putting them down, intending to put them down while my players were playing (for triggered events like a dragon appearing in an ambuse) or for later events. This was before I realized that images are invisible on the gm layer. Going back to put them down after figuring that out I realized I couldn't place the unused characters down. This SUCKS because I don't want to remake all the datasheets for enemies I'm only gonna be using loosely. Also now discovering that random enemies and npcs I've made also can't be placed down, and I can't find any difference between the characters that I can put on the map and the characters I can't. Please someone help, and if this is the wrong forum please redirect me to the right one.

I am unsure what you mean by "putting them down". Could you provide some screenshots referencing the problem? 

By "putting them down" I mean dragging characters out of the characters section in the journal and placing them onto the current map. So placing npcs or enemies

You mentioned they are going to the GM layer properly, so that indicates to me that you are able to lay them down.  When you are dragging from the Journal to the token layer what happens?  Are you dragging via the name, or the image in the Journal tab? 

I can't put them down on any layer currently. When I try, the character's image just doesn't appear on the map. Like this: I drag the character from the journal by the name onto the map, and when I release nothing happens.

It seems like you were trying to post a screenshot.  When posting screenshots pasting a screengrab won't work. Please save it to your computer then upload it. 

The journal is open to character. I dragged several characters by the name onto the map, and only those two worked

Alright, so unfortunately I think this is going to require more than screenshots.  My suggestion is that either we get into a Discord call together where you show me what is going on or you contact Roll20 via the Help Center and perhaps they can help.
