No NPC token actions working in "Vecna: Eve of Ruin", nor NPC character sheets

I just started the campaign today, and none of the NPC token buttons are working, I get messages like this whenever I try to use them:  Unable to find sheet action or character macro with the name "npc_init". Additionally, when I try to open an NPC character sheet, it seems to want me to build the character or monster, even though the bio/info is already filled in.  I have not added any macros of my own or fiddled with any settings. I'm running this "straight our of the box", as it were. I would appreciate any tips on how to fix this. Thanks!

Hi Beorscealc! The problem you are running into is that up until last lear, all modules were converted using the 2014 sheet. Token actions as they are builtin the module, only work with that sheet. Although strides are being made to allow similar functionality with the new 2024 sheet (which has an entirely different internal architecture), there is as yet no mechanism to do so. In recognition of this, Roll20 has made dual sheet games possible. In this case, I would suggest creating the game in Jumpgate, using the 2014 sheet. That will ensure that all monsters have working token actions. Once the game has been built, you can add the newer sheet if you prefer, internally, in the settings tab on the right. Then you can decide which sheet to use for anything you add, such as new monsters and/or PCs. Feel free to post further if you run into difficulties.
Thanks Keithcurtis... I had the same problem, and your answer resolved the situation. I justed start a new game and ask to my players to rebuild their character.

There really needs to be a disclaimer on older modules...
keithcurtis said: There really needs to be a disclaimer on older modules... Agreed.  Thank you very much for your response! I'll create a new copy of the game using 2014, then allow 2024 from the in-game menu as you suggest.
