Add Actions and Effects to Custom Items in D&D 2024 sheet

Right now, actions and effects from custom items can be added to the Combat tab, but they aren't tied to the item as a modifier. As a result, if an item is unequipped or removed, the player or DM has to manually go through the Combat tab to turn off, remove, or remember not to use the associated actions or effects.  Items from the compendium like Rope of Mending or Rope of Entanglement can have Actions as an option in the modifier list so that their effects appear on the Combat tab. My request is to let manually added custom items be able to have actions and effects like items dragged in from the compendium.
