[LFP][D&D 5e][$25 per Session][4/6 Seats Available][Thursdays at 10 PM EST] Lord of the Rings: The Flame Rekindled [5e]

The beacons are dark. The mountains are silent. Gondor’s warning fires have gone out—one by one—and with them, the last threads of unity in the West. You are not kings, nor great captains. You are wanderers, scholars, smiths, and sentinels—called quietly to a mission the world has forgotten. Seven ancient beacon towers once lit the spine of the White Mountains, signaling war and peace between distant realms. Now, their fires are cold, their ruins infested, their histories nearly lost. But the Steward of Gondor has sent a whisper across the land. Rekindle the beacons. Restore the light. Prepare for what is coming. What This Campaign Is: A level 1–12 journey across mountains, ruins, haunted towers, and ancient wilds. A campaign of heroic restoration—rebuilding what was lost, facing the ghosts of the past, and reigniting hope. A low magic, high myth setting where choices matter, darkness whispers, and the smallest people can change the course of the future. A Tolkien-inspired world, but you do not need to know any lore to play. All the knowledge you need will unfold at the table. What You’ll Do: Travel across the White Mountains, discovering forgotten towers, long-lost rituals, and enemies old and new. Face challenges of diplomacy, wilderness, battle, and legacy. Choose whether to fight for Gondor’s future, or let the old world burn and shape something new from its ashes. What Makes It Special: Each major milestone ties to relighting one of the Seven Beacons. Your party will uncover buried secrets, sacred duties, and ancient oaths that test more than just your swords. You decide what the fire means: war, unity, defiance—or rebirth. Character Creation: Use the Lord of the Rings 5E system ( Adventures in Middle-earth ). Be a ranger, bard, exile, healer, dwarf, elf, hobbit, or man—whatever calls to you. Focus on character ideals, history, and values. Who are you, and why do you answer the call? This is a campaign about light in the dark, the weight of legacy, and the strength of chosen bonds. Will you carry the flame? Or will the mountains remain silent forever? https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/422779/lord-of-the-rings-the-flame-rekindled-5e Payment Notice: This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $25 per session via StartPlaying. Come join us for this game! I'm excited to get the chance to play in the LOTR 5e system again. I've played a character with little in-world knowledge who had to be convinced of his role in the world. I'm now excited to try a new spin with a new crew in a new part of the world. LOTR fans, join us! LOTR-curious folks, join us! See yah there
I’ve always loved The Lord of the Rings, and after playing a campaign set between The Hobbit and The War of the Ring , I didn’t think it could get better — but this one just might. Set in the aftermath of the War, this game breathes new life into Middle-earth. The mechanics are easy to pick up but offer real depth, keeping every session feeling fresh. If you love storytelling, the creeping pull of the Shadow, and good old-fashioned swordplay, you’ll feel right at home. It’s familiar, yet full of surprises. Mo does a fabulous job as GM, allows space for deep rp moments between players and NPCs and keeps the pace moving when needed. If you’re thinking about joining — do it. This is one quest you won’t want to miss!
Start Date: 5/22/25 2 seats left!
