Better inventory

Score + 12
With the new character sheets and the compendium it is really easy to add items to your character, but item management is a mess. There is no way to sort the items (at least I didn't find one) and no way to add items to a bag of holding so that it won't count to the weight. So I would suggest following changes: I think a drag and drop feature would help with inventory organization.  Being able to move items around within the inventory sheet to sort your items would at least be some way to sort the items. Automatic sorting by type would also be welcomed, so that the items can automatically be grouped by weapons, armor, potions, scrolls, etc.  Creating storing items like backpacks, pouches and bags where other items could simply be dragged an dropped in would be awesome. Better if you could set a capacity, how much weight fits in, and a check if it retains its weight (like the bag of holding). These holding items should then be foldable to hide items inside to have better overview. You then could have pouches for potions, scrolls, amulets, etc. Also, being able to put pouches inside of bags would be nice but not necessary.
I'd like to suggest two improvements for the character inventory in Roll20: Better overview and organization of the entire inventory Easier access to item details 1: Inventory overview and organization Right now, I only enter important equipment into the Roll20 inventory, because otherwise the list quickly becomes cluttered and hard to manage. Everything else ends up lumped together under "Other Possessions", which lacks structure — especially for characters with lots of stuff. What I'd love to see: The ability to define custom categories or "bags" to better organize the inventory. For example: Equipment (e.g. cloak, staff) Spell Components Consumables (potions, torches, etc.) Quest Items Tools Treasures  (just for selling) Documents (books, scrolls) Junk (worthless or flavor items) My current workaround: I’m using a Google Tables to separate items into those categories. It would be great if something like this could be managed directly within Roll20. 2: Easier access to item details Many items have longer descriptions. At the moment, I have to open the edit view and manually resize the text field every time I want to read the full description. My suggestion: A pop-out view or a quick "expand" button — similar to how spell details are handled — would make it much easier to view full item information without interrupting gameplay. Bonus ideas: A filter/search function (e.g. by name, type, or category) Sorting options (alphabetically, recently added, by weight, etc.) Ability to tag items Drag-and-drop items between categories/bags
