How can we cancel or close bug requests? And can we follow them?

I sent in a bug request via the help center form but it has not been solved (thanks to Rick A's quick reply). I never got a confirmation via email and so have no idea how to follow-up.  Is it possible to let the devs know they can remove this one from their queue to save them time? And is there a way to follow up on requests or do we just have to wait until a reply? Thanks!

Hi Olman F.,  If you didn't get an email with a ticket number then it is likely the bug request never went through.  I would submit it again. You should get an automated response within a short period of time to the email address you used in the Help Request.
That is odd, because there was a pop-up saying it had been submitted, but I did indeed never receive the email confirmation.  But if it was never truly submitted than my question is now moot anyways!  Good to know how the process works for the future. Thanks for your help and all the work on this product.

Check your spam folder, it might have wound up there.  Alternately there might have been an error in the email address.

I never received anything for my last submission regarding the query prompt window being hidden in JG.  Helpdesk window indicated it was submitted but I never received anything in my email regarding the submission...
Just FYI confirmed that I never received an email either.
