Since class levels are not directly editable, the "Character Level" defaults to 0. But I found a workaround to change it: Create a token. Double-click the token to open its settings. Assign the character sheet to "Represents Character". Assign the "hiddenTotalLevel" attribute to any of the token's bars. Save Changes. Select the token and change the bar's value from 0 to the desired level. This will update the Character Level on the sheet, as well as Max HP and Max MP. Once done, you can reassign that bar's attribute  back to "None" or  any other attribute.

Go to the Class Section tab. Add a Class, then set the skills levels. Each Class level (and the Total Levels) will now be automatically calculated by summing the skill levels.
