[LFP] GM looking for potential Lancer Players

Closed for players. Howdy Folks, I'm planning on running a game of Lancer, a game about mechs and their pilots. I'm aiming for 3-6 players, I have two confirmed players, with a third high likelihood potential already, but I'd rather have more to provide some resiliency if someone can't show up for a session. All of the players are new to Lancer, but have years of prior experience with other TTRPGs. I myself have run other TTRPGs, but my only experience with Lancer has been running small missions testing out the system. The plan is to run intro missions for single players or optionally duos if you want to pair up with someone else to introduce the two sections of the game (I recommend you read the rules before this, but I can't make you) narrative play and mech combat (A 1 on 1 fight with a basic npc mech, or 2 on 2 if you want to play an intro as a duo ) and give new players a better grasp of how to play, it'll also get me a better grasp of what it is like to GM for you in particular and what you like or dislike when playing. These missions will act as an introduction to why you are on the planet I'm setting these initial missions on, Folly, and I'll attempt to personalize them to your characters, then two full party missions on a planet, with the party leveling up after each mission, the first acting as an introduction to team combat in lancer and allowing you to upgrade your mechs and pilots from what is baseline available for the second mission, and the second mission providing enough license levels to unlock a mech that isn't the generic all-rounder mech. After this set of intro missions are done, I'm planning on running Lancer on and off in a sort of episodic format with sets of available missions to choose from, as the system lends itself well to that format. The party will level up after each mission, even if your Lancer isn't present, as it'll be assumed that you are off doing cool mech pilot stuff on your own instead. I'll be running the game with two tools, https://compcon.app/#/ , and Roll20. With Compcon handling character sheets/mech specifications, as it is a free tool made by the company that makes Lancer and has extremely good tools for level ups and configuring mechs, and an initiative tracker, and roll20 handling the battle map and rolls. I can provide a copy of the Lancer Core PDF to anyone that has not read it, but I'll likely hold off on providing a link until after I can communicate with prospective players. Here is a link if you'd like to buy your own copy, there are also free copies around that are missing the GM sections and the lore in the back of the book : https://massifpress.com/lancer
Heyo! Are you still looking for players? I've been interested in LANCER for a while now, but haven't had the chance to really try it out. I'd love to join if you had the space for another!

Are you still looking for players?
If you haven't started I'd be more than willing to learn before hand how to play to join.
Hello, I have been looking for a LANCER campaign for a very long time (almost 2 years), and was wondering if there is still an opening for this game? I have had prior experience with the system with some one shots and have been wanting to play more LANCER ever since. What would be the day/time this game runs on and will we be using Discord for communication?
