Greetings fellow programs! Just an advanced interest check. Maybe connect with some folk interested (who have at least surely heard of it) in this campaign setting. The other month I accidentally bought the module on Roll20 (don't ask), so what the heck. Also went and bought the Guide to Ravenloft as well. So, a player in another campaign I run is an expert in it and based on her enthusiasm I want to give it a go. But might be awhile before I am ready because I am delving into and researching the material. I'm thinking in the summer to get it underway (month? two? More?) and hopefully go well into the following year. I also have a long history with running atmospheric Call of Cthulhu campaigns and I'd like to mash that experience with my history of running DandD campaigns since childhood into an epic campaign with lots of action and lots of role play in a fantasy horror setting. I would really prefer to run for folk with little experience with the setting. But we can talk. Might not start till into the summer or even later depending on what happens with my current DnD commitments, or could start sooner. I'm still researching the material. I am Pacific time and prefer to run on weekend afternoon/evenings, but all to be determined. You can check my profile for some verbiage about me and my gaming styles (maybe too much). Finding and vetting players online can be a pain (my gaming life was mostly face to face with friends I already knew), but I have gotten pretty good at organizing a great group from various sources who gel well.
