Availability: Mon: 5:30pm CST - 12:00am CST Tue: 5:30pm CST - 12:00am CST Wed: Flexible/All Day (Preferably not before 9am CST) Thu: 5:30pm CST - 12:00am CST Time Zone: CST (Central - USA) System(s) desired: DND 5e (2014 and 2024) - Able to learn others (Interest in other D&D editions, Daggerheart and PF2e) Experience Level: Very minimal experience in playing, have been following/watching content for years Over 18: Y Greetings all. GrizzlyNRD, or Griz. (35M He/Him) Hobbyist gamer, creative, I dabble in sketching from time to time. I love to exhaust myself developing narrative hooks and character concepts. I am an absolute animation fanatic. And currently, my fixation has turned towards TTRPGs as a medium to express and share my ideas in a different way. I know my schedule is a bit odd, but I am trying to work with what time I have. I am looking to join a regular playgroup for TTRPG shenanigans either weekly or every other week, preferably an older group as I favor more mature or conceptually deeper themes. I am a fan of dark and grim fantasy, horror, and themes of turning trauma or adversity into growth, but do not feel I am above a more standard "you meet in a tavern" high fantasy romp. (I will just need a clear indicator of tone before I start drafting a character.) Not a big fan of steam punk, sci-fi, or hyper mundane settings, but can be convinced with the right pitch or concept. I very much love to make complex backgrounds for my characters and then mold the system and classes to suit their backstory. Working from an aesthetic or vibe backwards to mold mechanics to make it work. I am open to homebrew. I have never played a module but am interested. Feel free to DM me and see if I could fit into your campaign. I appreciate any and all interest. (Except for solicitation for paid campaigns, I'm not begging for advertisement, apologies.)
Hi. If interested, https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/12376341/looking-for-players/?pageforid=12376341#post-12376341 .

Thank you very much for reaching out! As I am still inexperienced with actual play, starting out so deep into a campaign with minimal information, at such a high level, and with such a narrow character pool to create from, it feels like you are needing someone to fulfill a specific niche within your party and game dynamic that I do not feel I could properly fit. I apologize, but do wish you well in finding the right fit!
When you say weekends are spoken for is that including Fridays? We game on Friday nights and are looking for 1-2 players for our campaign. 5th level characters in a homebrew world being overrun by Vampires and the players will be on a quest to bring back the sun that has been gone for 27 years. No restrictions on characters or need for a class. Only rule is make a character that you enjoy playing and hopefully not power gaming which eventually we find players don't enjoy longterm.

Yes, I am sadly unavailable for Friday evenings/nights due to prior commitments. I do hope you find good people to fit into your active campaign though!

Could you give me some more information about the campaign and the characters? Brief summary of what's happened in the story and who the party consists of so I can get a feeling for what is happening? Tone of the campaign, content advisories, etc. etc.
Refreshing for updated availability. (Reformatted for clarity.)
